The Problem Section of the Nieuw ArchiefThe Problem Section of the Nieuw Archief voor Wiskunde is open to everyone; everybody is encouraged to send in solutions and propose problems. Group contributions are also welcome. The competition is organised under the aegis of the Royal Dutch Mathematical Society.
The prizesEach session consists of a number of problems of increasing difficulty. For each problem, the most elegant correct solution will be rewarded with a 20 Euro book token.At times there will be a Star Problem, to which the proposer does not know any solution. The contributor of the first correct solution within one year will receive a prize of 100 Euro.
SubmissionSubmission by email (in LaTeX) is preferred; participants should repeat their name, address and university at the beginning of each problem/solution. Submissions must be sent to the coordinator of the Problem Section before the submission deadline (see above). The address is:Problem Section NAW Mathematisch Instituut, Univ.
